There are a number of reasons that new Hyundai vehicles could receive an accolade, including everything from build quality to technology to affordability, but most recently a couple of our most beloved models were given awards simply for being so gosh-darn pretty.

Both the 2018 Hyundai Elantra and 2018 Hyundai Sonata recently were given 2017 International Design Excellence Awards® from the Industrial Designers Society of America for featuring unique and bold design. While so much goes into engineering the guts of these vehicles and lining the interiors with the highest-quality materials, the first thing anybody will see is the outside of the car. That's why it's so important for a vehicle to look nice on first glance.

These two vehicles absolutely accomplish that.

"We are building a variety of charismatic characters for each segment to make Hyundai Motor to be the most loved brand in the automotive industry," said Sangyup Lee, Head of Hyundai Styling. "Hyundai Motor will keep developing more distinctive and creative design."

Those designs show up in the 2018 Hyundai Elantra, with its redesigned cascading grille and more aggressive overall stance, and the 2018 Hyundai Sonata, with its "bolder, more sophisticated" styling. They are, quite frankly, two incredibly classy automobiles both in appearance and quality, and these awards lend justification to that very belief, which we have had here at Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City for quite some time.

If you'd like to test drive either of these vehicles, come pay us a visit any time and we'll be happy to get you set up for a spin. We want you to see for yourself just how lovely these autos are in person. They are award winners, after all!
