The Hyundai Kona is coming, and it's coming soon, at least according to a recent press release from the automaker late last month. Set to debut in June, the Hyundai Kona has been, for the most part, kept under wraps thus far, but Hyundai recently released a teaser image of the all-new crossover's front end that has customers in Elizabeth City, NC getting pretty excited about what this means for the future of design in Hyundai cars.

To be perfectly honest, we haven't seen much of the forthcoming small SUV yet, as the automaker only has released two teaser shots of it thus far. The more recent shot, which came to light just a couple of weeks ago, gives potential customers a great look at the front end, which is considerably more aggressive in its design compared to what Hyundai designers typically have done.

It's a good look, though, thanks in large part to thin LED headlights and quite a few slick curves and creases in the light alignment and hood. It also features the same cascading grille design that we've seen in other recent Hyundai models like the 2018 Hyundai Sonata and 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT. It looks every bit as good on the Hyundai Kona as it does on its older siblings.

The shadows are lifted when the crossover officially debuts at auto shows next month. From there, it will get a wide release in Asia for a few months before making its way to Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City early in 2018.

As your Elizabeth City Hyundai dealer, we're very excited about this forthcoming model, and we can't wait to add it to our long list of stylish, reliable Hyundai vehicles!
