At this year's Chicago Auto Show, the automaker released updated versions of these two hybrid models, and with their new aesthetics, safety features, technologies and performance numbers, it's easy to see why the higher-ups at Hyundai are so excited about these beloved sedans.
"Our new 2018 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in models add appeal in every area, from exterior to interior design, handling, steering, ride comfort, safety and infotainment," said Mike O'Brien, vice president of Product, Corporate and Digital Planning at Hyundai Motor America. "When combined with outstanding value and efficiency, the new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in are sure to attract even more eco-focused buyers."
The list of new or updated features is impressive. From new standard safety features like Blind-Spot Detection and Lane Change Assist, to upgraded technological offerings like Qi wireless phone charging and a new audio/video navigation system, it's easy to see what has our customers so excited about these forthcoming models. They also have been modernized in terms of aesthetics, with some new available features like a heated steering wheel.
While the vehicles have only just debuted in Chicago, both are 2018 model year cars, which means they will find their way to Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City later this year. When that happens, you can rest assured that we will get you in for test drives as quickly as we can so you can take home these great green Hyundai cars ASAP!
